Russ Bartlett spent 13 years working as a Project Manager for a major ERP solution provider back in the hay days – when implementing ERP solutions were seen as a panacea and the combination of ERP and IBM Midrange systems were vogue. During this time he managed around 40 plus implementations and witnessed first hand various project pitfalls that had an uncanny habit of repeating themselves. These are not just peculiar to ERP, and loosely categorized they fall under; people, process-related, and product related issues.
